Hill Climb Racing 2 is a racing game offered by Fingersoft. It has more than hundred million downloads on the Play Store. It is the next sequel of Hill Climb racing and has new vehicles, game modes & customizations.
Gameplay
In this game, you will drive a vehicle of your choice on hills. There are many maps like countryside, forest, moon, city, mountain, winter etc. Each map has its unique characteristics. Moon has very low gravity, the winter map has icy hills that need special wheels to increase the friction & the city has roads. You have to maintain your vehicle in a balanced position using acceleration & brake buttons to avoid crash landings. Fuel level will drop over time. Pick the fuel on the way to keep driving. You can perform stunts like wheelie, flips, air time etc. to earn more money. It has vehicle upgrades and tuning parts to increase the performance of your vehicles. You can race in multiplayer mode or drive endlessly in adventure mode.
Game Modes
There are many game modes for you such as adventure, cups, challenges, unranked, team events, events etc. Out of these modes, adventure & cups mode are important to unlock new maps & vehicles.
Adventure Mode
Adventure mode has no end. You can drive endlessly. Go as far as you can go. Perform stunts, pick coins & fuels. You will get adventure points equal to your covered distance. You can score points with each vehicle to raise your wanderer class and get unique rewards on reaching a new class.
Road to Legendary
It is a multiplayer mode. In it, you will race against 3 other players. There will be 3 rounds in a race and each round has a different track. You will get 3, 2 & 1 medals on completing a round at 1st, 2nd & 3rd position respectively. Your position will be decided on your and others total medals. Get medals more than others to come first.
Unranked Mode
In this mode, you can play the cup tracks used in the “Road to Legendary” mode. You can start the whole cup as well as a single track. Your rank won’t be affected in this mode.
Teams & Team Events
You can join the teams to play with your friends and chat with them. Teams are like clans. You can also participate in team events. In team events, there will be multiple game modes. You can only use the allowed vehicles for those modes. You and the other teams will compete against each other for 2 days. Collect more event points than the other teams to win awesome rewards.
Challenges
You can create a challenge and invite your friends to compete. When you create a challenge, you can select a map & vehicle and complete it. Then your friends can compete against your ghost with the same vehicle even if he doesn’t have the vehicle. You can also start other players’ challenges. First time it’s free, but then you have to pay one diamond to play the challenge.
