Overview
Adobe Acrobat Reader is a PDF viewer app with PDF editing & creating tools. It lets the users easily open any pdf document, local or online. You can connect with Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox to access the files stored in these cloud storages in this app. You can also edit the pdf, convert the pdf into other file formats like docx, doc, ppt & xml and vice-versa. You can add comments in the pdf and share with others. It has a form-filler feature so you can easily fill the forms with text & sign in pdf forms.
User-Friendly Interface
It has an user-friendly & simple interface. You can easily use the app. It has four tabs: Home, Files, Shared and Search. In the home tab, you can see two sections, recent and starred. it shows all the recent pdf files you opened in the recent section and starred pdf files in the starred section. In the files tab, you can access all the pdf files stored in your local storage and on cloud storage. It also shows other cloud storage options like Google Drive, OneDrive etc so you can access those files too. In the shared tab, it shows all the shared (sent and received) files. Last tab is to search the pdf file stored in local or online storage.
PDF Tools & Options
Along with the pdf viewer, it also has tools to convert the files into pdf or pdf to other files. You can edit the pdf to insert text, paragraph or images and rearrange the pages. You can also set a password for the protection. It has a file compression tool. You can share the file with others via email, link or a copy of the file on social apps.
PDF Viewer Modes
You can change the viewing mode of the pdf into continuous pages, page-by-page, reading mode and liquid mode. In continuous pages mode, pdf is like one page only and you can scroll the pdf pages without any separators. In the page-by-page mode, you can swipe left/right to open the previous/next page of the pdf. In the ready mode, it rearranges the content of the pdf according to your screen size and follows the continuous mode inside a page & page-by-page mode when switching to another page. You can pinch or double tap on the screen to change the font size. Liquid mode is similar to reading mode, but in it, it shows a list of outlines like heading, subheading. You can easily navigate to any section. You can also change font size, word-spacing and line-spacing. To save the battery or read at night, you can turn on the night mode.
Subscription Features
In the free version of the app, you can freely open the pdf files, add comments and share with others. But there are many premium tools you can only use after buying the subscription. In the subscription plan, you can edit the text, insert a new page, delete any pages or rearrange the pages in the pdf. It lets you create pdf files with images & documents. You can export pdf into docx, doc, sml & ppt files.
