Fruit Ninja 2 is an action game offered byHalfbrick Studios. It has more than five million downloads on the Play Store. Cut the fruits, use power-ups, perform combos, earn as much score as you can, compete against players and rise up in the leaderboard & league.
Gameplay
In this game, you will play as a fruit ninja whose only job is to cut fruits. In it, fruits will be thrown on the screen, you have to cut them by swiping your finger on them. Your swipe action acts as a blade slice that will slice the fruit. Cutting more than 2 fruits gives bonus points. Some fruits also give critical bonuses. There are also special fruits like 3 banana types with yellow, white & red stripes and pomegranate. Yellow striped banana activates the frenzy mode in which fruits will be thrown from both sides of the screen in large numbers. Red striped banana activates the 2x score booster for a limited-time. And white striped bananas slow down the movement of all fruits for a limited period of time. You can hit a pomegranate multiple times to increase your score. You can also use power-ups to gain various advantages.
Game Modes
Arcade
In an Arcade mode. You can use power-ups. It supports combos, critical hits, combo blitz and special fruits. An arcade match lasts for 60 seconds. Earn points as much as you can. Bombs will also be thrown with fruits. If you cut a bomb, 10 seconds will be deducted from the time. When the time runs out, a pomegranate will appear. Hit it as many times as you can to increase your score.
Zen
Zen matches last for 90 seconds. You can’t use power-ups in it. There will be no critical and blitz combos. Also no bombs will be thrown. Collect score in this mode and get rewards in its score challenge
Classic
Classic mode is more challenging than Arcade & Zen mode. It has no time-limit. No power-ups are supported in it. You get 3 lives. If you fail to cut a fruit, you will lose one life. Lose all lives and game over. Bombs will be thrown on the screen. If you cut the bomb, then game over. On earning 100 points, you will get a life.
League
In the league, you will be matched against a player based on your league. Fruits will be thrown on the screen for both players. You will get points for cutting your fruits only. Your fruits are highlighted with blue outlines and your opponent’s fruits with red outlines. You can use power-ups too. Score more points than your opponent to win the match. You will get trophies for winning the match. Play matches in the league and earn trophies to increase your league. When the season ends, you will get rewards based on your league.
