Jetpack Joyride is an arcade, endless running game full of actions offered by Halfbrick Studios. It has more than hundred millions of downloads on the play store. Collect coins, use awesome vehicles, gadgets, power-ups, build S.A.M, dodge missiles & zappers and run as long as you can in this endless lab.
Gameplay
In this game, you will run in an endless laboratory equipped with a bullet-powered jetpack. You need to cover as much distance as you can. There will be zappers, lasers on the way. Missiles will also target you. You have to dodge all the security techs. Collect coins on your way to buy new vehicle skins, gadgets and power-ups. Gadgets & power-ups help you to cover more distance. Pick a spin token whenever you can that gives you a chance to spin the slot-machine after you crash. If all 3 hearts come in the slots, then you will get a chance to continue, otherwise it will be game over. There also are small bombs, big bombs, spin tokens, headstart etc. Bomb blasts near you and throws you ahead to cover more distance in the score.
Controls
Controls are very simple and easy in this game. All you need is one finger to play the game. When you tap on the screen, your jetpack starts and makes you fly for a moment. Tap and hold to power the jetpack and your flying altitude will keep increasing. When you wanna decrease your flying height, don’t tap and jetpack will stop, making you come downwards. Tap at a regular pace to keep the character at the same altitude. That’s all for the controllers. Now it’s up to you how well you can power the jetpack with your taps.
Vehicles
There are many types of vehicles you can randomly get on the way. You can find a rainbow box looking item while running. Pick it up and you will get a random vehicle. Each vehicle has its unique properties. Crazy freaking teleporter lets you teleport at short distances. It has a point-arrow that moves up & down. When you tap, it teleports to that arrow position. When using a gravity suit, you can walk on the floor or roof with a tap. Lil Stomper, Mr. Cuddles (mechanical fire breathing dragon), profit bird, sleigh are some of other vehicles. When you crash into any missile or zappers, your vehicle will be destroyed and you will be back to jetpack.
Gadgets
It has 18 amazing gadgets that always help you throughout the run. You can equip 2 gadgets. You can also unlock the third slot with the real money for the third gadget. Use Flash, a robot dog that collects coins. Use insta-ball to cover more distance with the bouncy ball after you crash or freeze-o-matic to go sliding. Dezapinator disables the nearby zappers. Pick any gadgets you like and go on the run.
Power-ups
Power-ups spawn on the way that give you special boost in many ways. There are a total of 4 power-ups: cash dash, boost, shield, rocket time. You can upgrade these to increase their time. Cash dash spawns the coins in a line with a pig at the end. Pick that pig and a large amount of coins will fall from it. Boost increases your speed so much for a certain distance and makes you invincible throughout the distance. Shield protects you from the missiles, zappers & lasers. Rocket time slows the time so that you can dodge the incoming missile.
