Gameplay
Minecraft is an open-world game where you can explore a world full of monsters, resources, people, hidden treasures & animals. Or you can create your own world. Everything is made up of blocks in this game. You can smash your surroundings to collect items like wood, stone, iron, food etc. to craft tools, weapons and build shelters. Smashing things decreases your hunger level. You need to eat food to replenish your hunger level. Using tools decreases the consumption of your energy and your hunger level lasts longer. It’s also a cross-platform game so you can invite your friends to join you in the adventure.
Tools & Weapons
Tools and weapons have the most important role in survival mode. Without these, you can’t survive for long. There are many tools you can craft that will make it easy to break things. Some basic tools are pickaxe, axe, shovel & hoe. Use these tools in the early game to decrease the hunger level consumption and survive longer. You can use the weapons to hunt the animals for food. Swords & bows are primary weapons. You can enhance the tools & weapons to increase their damage & durability.
Game Modes
There are mainly three game modes you can choose from to play: Survival, Creative & Adventure. There is a description on all these modes:
Survival Mode
In this mode, you have to do everything to survive from collecting resources to building structures. In days, you have to collect resources and make a shetler to hide. Mobs come out at night. They can attack you and your shelter. You have HP & Hunger Bar and you will feel hungry after working. You will lose your HP when you don’t eat and refill your Hunger Bar. Items also have a durability after which you can’t use them.
Creative Mode
In this mode, you don’t have to worry about resources, HP, Hunger or mobs. You have unlimited resources and you can create anything you want. You can fly in it by double tapping the jump button. No mobs will attack you.
Adventure Mode
Adventure mode is a limited-feature mode that gives challenges to the players. In this mode, you can’t fly. You will have HP, Hunger & EXP bars. Monsters will attack you. You can’t break blocks bare-handed. You will need an item with the CanDestroy tag to break things. And also blocks need to have a CanPlace tag. Only then you can use those blocks to build something.
Multiplayer Realms
You can also create private multiplayer servers hosted by Minecraft to play with upto 10 friends. Your friends can play on your servers even when you go offline. You can set the rules of the game.
