Death Road to Canada is an adventure RPG game offered by Noodlecake Studios Inc. Travel from Florida to Canada with a bunch of weird characters to survive in the post-apocalyptic zombie world.
Gameplay
In this game, you will travel from Florida to Canada in a car which will be a long journey. You will stop at many different locations for collecting food, fuel, ammunition, weapons, repairing the car and sleeping to recover your strength. Each time you start a new game, you will encounter everything randomly, random characters, random locations, random stories, Nothing will repeat itself except the zombies that are everywhere. While driving the car, characters will talk, encounter many situations and you have to choose what to do in those situations. You will get multiple options to choose from. There are three combat modes: Smashing, Shooting & Both and three tactics: Run, Defend & Fight. These modes will decide the actions of your teammates.
Characters
There are many weird characters in the game you will encounter throughout the journey. It’s on you if you want them to join your team or not. You can start the game with upto two random characters. When your character dies, you will automatically switch another. Each character has different traits and perks. Their personality stats depend on their traits. There are 28 types of traits in the game such as Bandit, Berserk, Calm under Fire, Fast Learner, Hero Type, Paranoid, Irritating, Sound Sleeper etc. Characters get unique abilities and fighting methods based on their perks. For example, characters with martial artist perk can deal high damage with just their arms. They can’t use guns and gain 1 point in fitness & strength. There are 24 perks in the game. Some of the perks are Athlete, Car Nut, Fighter, Friend of Dog, Gungineer, Health Care, Mechanic and Surgeon.You can choose any character as the leader from the team. You can upgrade and buy new perks & traits at the zombo land by using zombo points.
Weapons
In a world full of zombies, you can’t survive barehanded. You need weapons to kill them. And in this game, there are three types of weapons: Melee, Ranged and Motorized. Melee weapons are common weapons you will find everywhere. These are used to attack the zombies at close ranges. Your energy drains when attacking the zombie with a melee weapon. You have to rest for a while to recover your energy. If you keep attacking, your attack speed and damage will drop so much. Ranged weapons are pistols, revolvers, rifles etc. Ranged weapons require ammos to shoot the zombies from great distance. If you run out of ammos, you can use it as a melee weapon. But it’s damage is very low.
