Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade is an action game offered by Pixel Toys. It has more than a million downloads on the Play Store. Forge powerful war gears and equip them with your mecha to make it the strongest mecha and defeat all the enemies in 120+ campaign missions and multiplayer battles.
Story
In this game, a knight went through the process of becoming the imperial knight of the House Drakkus. The day he became the imperial knight, twisted evil forces of Chaos attacked the House Drakkus and destroyed it. The knight was overwhelmed by the enemies and was saved by a Space Marine, named Dark Angels. To take revenge and defeat the evil forces, Dark Angels and the Imperial Knight joined forces and gave it the name: Freeblade. In this game, you will play as that knight to defeat the forces of Chaos.
Gameplay
In this game, your mecha will move automatically. Enemy forces will come to destroy you. Use your light weapons, heavy weapons, and mounted weapons to kill the enemy forces. Tap, hold & drag with a single finger to shoot with your light weapon. Tap & hold with two fingers to aim with your heavy weapon & release to shoot with it. Double-tap to use the mounted weapons.
You will also engage in melee combat with the enemy. In the melee combats, a melee bar with an indicator will appear on the screen. You have to tap the screen when the indicator comes in the middle of the melee bar to strike the enemy. The damage you deal will be critical in the middle of the bar.
Kill all enemies in the level to clear it. On clearing the level, you will get medals based on your score, ore, and XP. XP is required to level up. Your mecha’s HP will increase on leveling up and you will also get gold. Ore is used for forging gears & making your mecha more powerful.
Multiplayer Mode
Multiplayer mode is the best mode to test your strength against the real players. In it, you will be matched against a real player and will fight each other. There will be enemies too on the battlefield. Killing the enemies will increase your fury. Fury increases your damage output. You can shoot your opponent to reduce his fury. But it will not increase your fury.
Destroy the opponent’s mecha to win the match. You will get rank points on winning and will be placed on the leaderboard. When the season ends, you get amazing special war gears for your mecha. You will also get valor medals that you can use in the valor shop to get awesome gear.
