Story
It follows the story of Sword Art Online anime. Akihiko Kayaba created a VRMMO game, Aincrad, consisting of 100 floors and a nerve gear. On it’s official release day, many players joined the game. But when they tried to log out from the game, they didn’t find the log out button. Akihibo Kayaba explained about the nerve gear and Aincrad. If anyone dies in the game will die in real life. If anyone’s friend or family tries to remove nerve gear, it will fry the mind of the user and he will die. There is only one way to get out of the game: Clear the 100th floor of the Aincrad.
Gameplay
In this game, you will not play as Kirito or any other SAO character, but play as yourself. You will meet a girl, Koharu, on the last day of beta testing. You will meet her again in Aincrad and become your partner in this long journey of clearing all floors. Complete the main quest to make the progress in the game. You can also complete sub-quests and missions to get extra rewards and exp. Clear main quest, rise your level, join the assault team and defeat powerful monsters to clear the floors.
Controls
The controls are easy to understand. It all depends on how and when you use them. You can drag the finger on the bottom left corner to move the character and slide on the screen to change the camera. Pinch the screen to zoom in & out. With the double tap, the camera will return to front. On the bottom right corner, there are attack, 4 skills, switch, quick-change and items buttons. Tap the attack button to attack the monsters, skill buttons to use any skill and quick-change to change the weapon & skills set.
Equipments & Skill Records
There are many types of equipment you can use to kill monsters. You can equip weapons, armor and accessories. There are many types of weapons like swords, spears, rod, axe etc. Each weapon can be equipped with 4 skills. For this, you need skill records. And skill records must be of the same type as weapons. Skill records are special moves of SAO characters like Kirito, Klein, Godfree, Asuna etc. With a sword, you can equip Kirito’s skill records as both use swords. You can also enhance equipment to increase the attributes.
Resources
Arcana Gems, Col are the main resources in the game that you can use to buy from the shop. You can use the arcana gems to buy skill records, popular SAO characters’ avatars, items, packs and weapon skills. Col is used to buy items from the in-game characters like workshop, blacksmith etc. You can get col by killing monsters and selling items.
