Darkness Rises is an action-packed role-playing game offered by NEXON Company. It has more than ten million downloads on the Play Store. Choose your class from the warrior & berserker to the mage & witch, and dive into the world where everything is on the brink of destruction to save it from the evil forces.
Gameplay
It’s an RPG game. In it, Orcs are attacking the Kingdom of Losteria. Iron Guard is in charge of defending the northeast borders of the Kingdom. They always hold the line. But this time, they are overwhelmed by the bloodthirsty orcs. You will help them defeat the orcs and the mastermind behind all of this. When you start the game, you will choose your character class like a warrior, mage, archer, witch, etc.
You will get the tutorial on basic attacks, upgrades, gears & skills. You will play story mode and adventure mode. You will face many types of enemies in the levels like orcs, trolls, hyenas, high orc, etc. Use the basic attacks and skills to kill them. On killing them, you will get their souls that fill the soul bar. When the soul bar fills, you can use soul attacks twice.
Kill all the enemies in the level to clear it and proceed to the next one. On completing the level, you will get rewards like gold, essence, EXP, etc. EXP is required to level up the player level. Leveling up increases your PvE power, max adventure keys and you also get keys & SP rewards. Upgrade your character, his weapons, gears & skills to increase his power to face all the powerful enemies.
7 Character Classes
There are 7-character classes: Warrior, Wizard, Berserker, Assassin, Archer, Witch & Guardian. You can choose any class according to your playstyle. Each class has unique attacks, combos & skill sets. Witch is good at both, close and range combats as she can use swords as well as magic. Archer is so deadly at ranged combats. Berserker can crush anyone with his heavy ax and attacks.
Enhance the character’s stats by using essence & gold. Once you upgrade them to level 100, you can awaken them to make them more powerful. It will also unlock a unique awakening skill. Equip them with weapons & gear. You can fuse jewels in the gears, polish them and enhance them using other equipment.
Game Modes
There are so many game modes in it which are as follows:
PvE – Story, Adventure, Raid, Dungeons & Infinity Tower.
Co-op – Duo Dungeon, Immortal Raid Demonic Raid & Four Guardians.
PvP – Ranked Match, Duel PvP, Team PvP, Brawl & Skirmish.
Here are some of the game mode’s details:
Duel & Team PvP
In duel PvP mode, you will be matched against a real player of the same league in a 1-on-1 battle. Defeat the opponent and win the match. You will get trophies for winning and will be placed in the league depending on your total trophies. When the season ends, you get amazing rewards. Higher league, more rewards. The same goes for team PvP matches except these are 3v3 matches.
Brawl
In brawl mode, there will be 8 players. The last one standing will be the winner of the match.
Story
In the story mode, you will go through the story of how the orcs attacked the Kingdom of Losteria and what happens after that. And you are gonna help the Kingdom defeat the orcs & their conspiracy.
