Disney Frozen Free Fall is a match-3 puzzle game offered by Jam City, Inc. It has more than fifty million downloads on the Play Store. Match 3 ice crystals, use amazing power-ups, booters and characters unique powers to clear over thousands of levels.
Gameplay
This game is based on the match-3 gameplay. You have to swap two adjacent ice crystals to match 3 crystals of the same color to break them. Breaking the crystals gives you points. Many levels have the objectives of scoring a certain amount of points. Make matches and break the points to achieve the objective and complete the level. You will earn gold on completing the level. There are also other objectives such as collecting items, breaking frozen pieces etc. You get a limited number of moves to complete the level.
Power-ups
There are many types of power-ups you can create by matching more than three crystals in different shapes. You can also combine two power-ups for powerful effects. Read the following subsections for power-ups and their effects.
Windchill
Match 4 crystals of the same color in a row or a column to create a windchill. Windchills are of two types: horizontal and vertical. And it depends on your swiping direction. A horizontal windchill clears all crystals of its rows and a vertical windchill clears all the crystals of its column.
Iceberg
Match 5 crystals of the same color in “L” or “T” shape to create an iceberg. When you make a match with it, it explodes twice and both times, it breaks all the surrounding crystals.
Glacier
Match 5 pieces in a row or a column to create a glacier. You can swap it with any adjacent crystal of any color. When it is swapped with a crystal, it clears all the crystals of that color from the board.
Windchill + Windchill
When you combine 2 windchill power-ups, it clears all the crystals of its row as well as column.
Windchill + Iceberg
It’s a more powerful power-up combo than 2 windchill combo. Combining windchill and iceberg clears all the crystals of 3 rows & columns.
Iceberg + Iceberg
You can combine 2 iceberg power-ups to clear all the crystals in a radius of 2 tiles. It also explodes two times just like an iceberg.
Glacier + Any Other Power-up
Combining glacier with any other power-up will convert all the crystals of that color into the combined power-ups. Then all those power-ups will activate at the same time.
Glacier + Glacier
Combining two glacier power-ups will break all the crystals on the board and one layer of present obstacle pieces.
