Terraria is an adventure game offered by 505 Games Srl. It has more than a million downloads on the Play Store. Go on an adventure where you will explore many biomes and do everything from digging to crafting to survive.
Gameplay
You will spawn on an island full of monsters, zombies & creatures with some tools like copper axe, pickaxe, sword etc. You have to collect resources by digging and crafting items. Use the pickaxe to dig the ground to collect dirt, stone, ore & other resources. Use the axe to cut down the trees for wood. During the day, you will have no problem surviving, but at night, dangerous creatures come out and will attack you if you go near them. Collect all the necessary resources & items to build shelter and survive during night time. You can also craft weapons to kill the creatures & monsters.
Controls
It has fully customizable controls. You can customize the buttons however you want. In default controls, it has a virtual analog on the bottom left side of the screen to move the character. Near it, there are buttons to open inventory & interact with NPCs. With the analog on the right side, you can aim & use the tool/item. With the “↑” button, you can jump. Long tap it to jump higher and hold it to glide with the wings. A mini-map is located at the top right corner. You can tap the map to open the full map. Map shows the explored locations only.
Game Mode
You can select any game mode to play during creating the world. These modes are Journay, Classic, Mediumcore & Hardcore. Each mode except journey has 4 difficulties: Journey, Classic, Expert & Master. Journey mode has only journey difficulty. Enemies’ strength depends on the difficulty you choose.
Journey Mode
In journey mode, you will start with more tools & resources. When you die, you won’t lose any coins and items. It’s more like a creative mode.
Classic Mode
In classic mode, you will lose some of your coins when you die depending on the difficulty. But you get the coins back by going to that location where you die.
Mediumcore
In this mode, whenever you die, all the items will be dropped at that location. You can go there to retrieve the items. But if you die by explosion, falling into the lava or in any other similar situations, the dropped items will be destroyed too and you can’t get them back.
Hardcore
In this mode, you will have only one life. You will not only die but also your profile will be deleted permanently. Do you have the guts to play this mode?
Multiplayer Mode
In the multiplayer mode, you can play with upto 7 players. You can invite your friends to play with you or join a server to play with other players. To invite your friends, you have to host the game. Then your friends can join your world by connecting to your hosted network.
