Rush Royale is a strategy game offered by “My.com B.V.”. It has more than ten million downloads on the Play Store. Choose your units, heroes & enter the arena with your friend or against the real players from around the world and defend your base from the varieties of monsters in this tower-defense game
Gameplay
It’s a combination of tower defense and CCG (card collectible game) gameplay. You can play it with a random player in co-op mode or compete against players in PvP mode. You will make your deck of 5 units. In the match, there will be your base of 3 rows & 5 columns and a path around the base. It has a portal on the left side and a gate on the right side. Monsters will come out of this portal and will follow the path to enter the gate. You have to stop them by summoning your units.
Summoning a unit requires mana. Summon cost increases by 10 mana each time you summon a unit. When you summon a unit, it spawns a random unit at a random location in the base. You can merge two same units to make space. Merging creates a random unit with higher damage. You can also upgrade the unit’s card level using the mana that increases all the stats of that unit. You will get mana for each monster defeated.
Along with the units, you also have a hero. You can use his skills to get amazing support. Each unit comes with a certain amount of morale. The hero’s morale recharges equal to the addition of all the unit’s morale over time. When it reaches 100%, you can use his skill. In short, summon units, merge & upgrade them strategically, use hero skills, and stop the monsters from reaching the gate. On winning the match, you will get trophies, medals, gold, and a chance of getting chests.
Game Modes
PvP
In PvP mode, you will be matched against a real player. Your base will be on the lower side and the opponent’s base on the upper side of the screen. Both of you will have 3 hearts. Monsters waves will come out of the portal and try to enter the gate. Each wave will have multiple monsters and a boss in the end. Defeat them by summoning the units.
When either of you defeats a monster, it, then, comes out from the other’s portal. The match will last for 2 minutes. You will lose 1 & 2 hearts when a monster & boss reaches the gate respectively. The player who loses all hearts will lose the match. If both players lose the third heart at the same time, then the player who dealt more damage will win the match.
Co-op
In the co-op mode, you will play with a random player. Monsters will come out of the portal from both sides and try to enter the common gate. Both of you will get the mana when either of you kills a monster. Even if one monster passes the gate, the match will be over. There is no time in this mode and the waves are countless. The next wave will not start until you kill the last monster. In the 5th wave, a mini-boss will come and in the 10th wave, a boss will come.
