Description of Temple Run 2

In this game, you will find yourself in an ancient temple. There will be a golden totem. As soon as you tap on the Play button, your character will pick up the golden totem and some mysterious big monkeys-like guardians will start following you to kill you and get back the totem. To escape them, your character will start running at full speed. 

Now, your character will run automatically but you will control the character’s movements like jumping, turning, sliding, etc. There will be many obstacles on the way such as fire, fallen trees, chainsaws, broken bridges, pits, etc. You have to avoid hitting, colluding, or falling into them. You can pick up the coins and power-ups on the way. Power-ups will help you in your run with their unique features. And with coins, you can upgrade them.

As you collect coins, they will fill your power meter. Once filled, then you can double-tap the screen to activate the character’s power. Your score will increase over the distance you travel. And your running speed will increase over time. At that time, you will need to carefully and quickly control your character. If you are hit with anything or fall into the pit, then the game will be over. 

Lots of Amazing Power-ups & Upgrade

There are many types of power-ups. All power-ups have unique effects. You can upgrade them to increase their effects & durations. You can also increase your passive abilities. If you wanna know about them, then read the following:

Power-ups

Coin Magnet – It will attract all the nearby coins toward you.

Boost – It will make your character invincible for a short duration. While it’s activated, your character will turn automatically, all broken bridges & paths will be repaired, and you can pass through all obstacles without colliding with them. 

Shield – It will give you a shield that will protect you once from any danger.

Head Start – It will skip a certain distance and start the run at high speed.

Score Multiplier – The score will be multiplied by the score multiplier number while it’s activated.

Passive Upgrade

Coin Value – After covering a certain distance, you will start getting double coins, and then tripe coins. You can upgrade this passive to reduce that distance. 

Pickup Spawn – Upgrading this passive will increase the power-ups’ spawn rate.

Power Meter – You can upgrade this passive to increase the power meter’s filling rate.

Save Me – Upgrading this passive will reduce the cost of Save Me after you lose. 

Daily & Weekly Challenges

If you want to earn rewards like coins or diamonds, then you can complete the daily and weekly challenges. You will get three new challenges every day and every week. If you complete at least one challenge per day for five days, then you will get a big prize.
