King of Thieves is a strategy game offered by ZeptoLab. It has more than ten million downloads on the Play Store. Customize your character & dungeon, set up traps, upgrade gold mines & locks, steal gems from other players and become the king of all the thieves in the world.
Story
The story is about the world-famous king of thieves. One day he was captured and put into jail. He is, now, rescued by someone; we don’t know by whom. But he loses all his memories and all his popularity. Now he is nothing but a simple thief you can find anywhere. To regain his fame, the status of King of the Thieves, he has to steal precious gems from others. And you are gonna help him.
Gameplay
In this game, you will control a thief to reach & steal others’ treasure. You will search for the opponents to steal their gems. You can see their dungeon. If you think it has low gold & doesn’t have the gem, you can skip the dungeon and search for another. When you find the right one, tap to start stealing.
First, you have to open the gate. There will be multiple locks. Guess & choose the right lock to open the gate. It will cost you a key for each lock. So you better find the right lock in a few tries. After opening the gate, tap the screen to enter the dungeon. Your thief will move automatically.
Controls
Controls are simple! All you have to do is to tap the screen to make him jump over the traps & obstacles. When you jump near the wall, he will slide down slowly on the wall. Tapping the screen again will make him jump in the opposite direction. It will also change his moving direction.
Reach to the treasure chest avoiding all the traps & enemies. If you touch any of them, you will lose your hearts & will spawn at the starting point. On clearing the dungeon, you will get gold & stars depending on the remaining hearts. Then you get a chance of earning the gem. The more stars you have, the more chances of getting the gem.
The gems have a certain rating that is required to climb up in the leaderboard to become the king of the thieves. You can upgrade the gems in the Totem through a ritual to increase their ratings. But you can do the ritual for a certain number only. After that Totem will be depleted and you have to change the dungeon.
