N.O.V.A. Legacy is an action-packed sci-fi FPS game offered by Gameloft SE. It has more than fifty millions of downloads on the play store. Be ready with your mobile armored suit to face the aliens and uncover the mystery of their invasion.
Gameplay
In this game, you play as a N.O.V.A. marine, Kal Wardin. Aliens have invaded the earth and you have to stop them and know the intention of their assault. You will start in a spaceship where other marines are attacked by the aliens. Explore the spaceship, save any marine members and know what is going on and why aliens attacked. You can use weapons, grenades, melee attacks to kill the aliens. You will get missions from your higher-ups. On completing the missions, you will get rewards like coins, trilithium, weapon cards etc. You can also play multiplayer mode to compete against the other players.
Controls
The controls are very easy and you just need thumbs to control everythings. You can change the camera with your right thumb by swiping on the right side of the screen. Move the character by dragging your thumb on the bottom left side of the screen. You can see the aim-assist in the middle of the screen. Aim the enemies and it will auto-shoot the enemies. You can change the weapon by swiping left/right on the weapon icon on the top right corner and simply tap it to reload the weapon. When you go near an enemy, a hand button appears to use melee attack.
Weapons & Suit Cores
There are many types of weapons you can use. Handguns, assault rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, rocket launchers and plasma guns. Weapons are divided into rarities from common to legendary. Legendary weapons come with unique abilities. You can take upto 3 weapons with you. One handgun or plasma gun is a must. Handguns and plasma guns have infinite ammo. So whenever your other weapons run out of ammos, you can use these guns. You can upgrade the weapons to increase its attributes. Suit core improves your character’s stats like strength, speed, shield and resistance.
Game Modes
Play offline or online, it’s your choice. It has 2 game modes: campaign and multiplayer.
Campaign
Campaign includes story mode, special ops and shadow missions. In the story mode, you will complete the levels following the main story of the game. It has 19 levels in 6 stages. You can play these levels offline too. Special operations are short, fast-paced levels having unique alien formations. You will get rewards on completing 3 missions in special ops. Shadow missions are limited-time levels in which an alien’s special ops force attacks your territory. Kill all the aliens and stop their assault to win great rewards.
Multiplayer
There are two types of multiplayer matches.
Deathmatch – In it, 8 players will spawn on the battlefield and fight against each other. The player who survives till the end will be the winner.
Team Deathmatch – In this mode, two teams, each team with 4 players will enter in the battlefield. The team with the most kills when times out will be the winner.
