Very Little Nightmares is an adventure puzzle game offered by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe. It has more than a million downloads on the Play Store. Solve puzzles, find your way, escape from the enemies and find out the secret of the mysterious mansion.
Gameplay
In this game, there is a little girl in a yellow raincoat. She is trapped inside a creepy mansion that is like a maze. The mansion is full of traps, secrets and enemies. You will play as that girl and find your way to escape from this mansion. You have to solve the mechanical puzzles. FInd the keys to open the locks, enter through small gaps to go to the next door and so many other tasks. There are also small creatures. At some points, you also need them to proceed further. Whenever you successfully complete a puzzle piece, the game process is saved. So if you die, the game will restart from the last puzzle piece solved.
Controls
The controls are very simple and easy. Tap on the screen and your girl will move there. Double tap to run to that position. When you go near an object that can be used, it will be highlighted. Tap on the highlighted object to interact with it like opening the door, picking the key, removing the obstacle etc.
Frightening Enemy
There is an enemy you will see at the starting of the game and will encounter him many times after that. He is no less than any monster. He has big arms & legs. He always sits on a wheelchair and uses it to move. He has fast speed, high hearing powers and long reach due to his long hands. You will see him for the first time in level 2 when you drop the glass jar from the cupboard. He will come looking for you from the breaking sound of the jar. Don’t move a single step or he will kill you.
Dangerous Traps
There are many types of traps in this game. First are the cracked tiles. If you step on them, you will fall down and die. Second are the eyes on the walls. These eyes are like Medusa eyes. If you come in contact with them, you will turn into stone, unable to move and will die. Beware of the electric shock too.
