Bloons TD 5 is a tower-defense strategy game offered by ninja kiwi. It has more than a million downloads on the Play Store. Place your amazing towers at the right positions and pop all the invading bloons.
Gameplay
It’s a tower-defence game. Bloons will invade the map and you have towers to pop them all. You can select a map in which you wanna play. Each map has a predefined path. Bloons only follow these paths. You can place the towers anywhere on the map except the path. Towers have a shooting range so always place the towers carefully. You will get XP and coins for each popped bloon. XP is required to increase your rank and unlock new towers. You can use special agents, special buildings, and upgrade towers in the lab to strengthen your towers. To clear a map, complete a certain number of rounds.
Unique Towers
There are many types of towers and each has a unique shooting style. Dark monkey, tack shooter, ninja monkey, glue gunner, bomb tower, super monkey, mortar tower etc. You can upgrade each tower to increase the attributes and unlock new skills. There are 2 paths, each including 5 levels. On the 3rd & 5th level, the tower gains unique abilities. You can only upgrade one path to the max and another to 2 levels.
Game Modes
Depending on the difficulty level, there are many modes: Easy, Medium, Hard, Impoppable, Apopalyse, Deflation & Sandbox. Co-op, Mastery & Odyssey are some more modes. Each mode has different rules and rewards.
Easy
In easy mode, you have 200 hearts. Bloons are slower and towers are cheaper too. You have to complete 50 rounds in it to get the bronze medal.
Medium
Towers’ cost and bloons’ speed are normal. You have 150 hearts. You will get the silver medal on completing 65 rounds.
Hard
In hard mode, bloons move faster and the cost of towers is more than the normal. You have 100 hearts. You will get the gold medal on completing 85 rounds.
Impoppable
In this difficult mode, you will have only 1 heart. That means you can’t let a single bloon get away. Ceramics and MOAB bloons have 50% & 100% more health respectively. In the 85th round, there will be 5 ZOMG bloon.
Mastery
Mastery mode is the highest difficulty mode. All the bloons will be bigger and have more HP. Unlocking this mode is also a challenge. To unlock this mode, you have to clear 17 beginner maps in easy, medium & hard mode and also have to get more than 39 bronze medals.
Co-op
In the co-op mode, you can play with your friend or a random player. When you start a match, you will be matched with a player who selected the same map & difficulty as you. The map will be divided into two half parts. You can place towers on one side and the player on the other side.
