Wildscapes is a casual match-3 puzzle game offered by Playrix. It has more than ten hundred million downloads on the Play Store. Clear match-3 levels and build your amazing zoo with all animals in it like pandas, elephants, lions, owls, kangaroos etc.
Gameplay
In this game, you have a zoo. You have to buy new animals & decorations to attract more visitors in your zoo and make it popular. But you will need coins to buy anything in the game. To earn coins, you have to play & clear match-3 levels. Each level has different objectives. Achieve the given objectives by matching 3 or more pieces of the same color. You can use power-ups & boosters to get some help. New animals & decorations will unlock at certain levels.
Power-ups
There are 4 combinations you can form to create power-ups. Power-ups have unique special effects that will help you clear multiple pieces. Here is a list of power-ups, their combination & effects:
- Can of Soda – Match 4 pieces of the same color to create a can of soda of that color. To use it, match it with 2 identical pieces. Then it will clear all pieces of its row or column. Its direction will depend on your swipe direction during creating it.
- Bag of Chips – Match 5 pieces of the same color in “T” or “L” shape to create it. Then match it with the 2 pieces of its color. It will explode twice and clear all pieces around it both times.
- Spinning Top – Match 4 pieces of the same color in a 2×2 square. To activate it, match it with 2 pieces of its colors. It will clear all adjacent pieces and then fly to a random location and clear its piece.
- Bucket of Candy – Match 5 pieces of the same color in a row or column to create a bucket of candy. Swap it with any adjacent piece and it will clear all the pieces of that color from the board.
Boosters
Boosters are divided into two categories: Pre-level and In-level. Pre-level boosters can only be selected before starting the level and in-level boosters can be selected while playing the level.
Pre-level Boosters
Double Spinning Top – Using this booster will double the effect of spinning top. Whenever a spinning top power-up activates, it releases to spinning tops.
Bucket of Candy – It will start the level with a bucket of candy power-up.
Chips & Soda – It will start the level with a bag of chips and a can of soda power-up.
In-level Boosters
Hammer – With the hammer, you can clear a piece from the board without using any move.
Sledgehammer – Select sledgehammer, then tap on any cell on the board. It will clear all pieces of its row and column.
Glove – With the glove, you can swap two adjacent pieces even when they don’t form a 3-match.
